General Overview:

Baan Krating Pai is located in Pai, a provincial town on
the road that connects Mae Hong Son with Chiang Mai province. The town
is set in a valley on the banks of a river and has the unique
atmosphere of a mountain frontier town due to it's remoteness and
beautiful location.
This has attracted a lively art scene of Thai and foreign artists and
Pai also offers a wide range of activities, like visiting hill tribe
villages (Shan, Karen, Haw Hmong, Lisu and Muser all live in the area),
waterfalls, elephant camps and hot springs. Pai is famous for it's
night life with numerous pubs playing live music, some until late. The
Bebop is a fixture of the night scene and a must for every visitor.
The Baan Krating Pai is a boutique resort with 20 private villas
in the mountain style of Northern Thailand, using natural materials and
